BW LPG Limited ("BW LPG", the "Company", OSE ticker code:
"BWLPG") is pleased to announce that it has today taken
delivery of BW Libra, the fifth Very Large Gas Carrier
(VLGC) in its newbuilding programme of eight VLGCs from
HHI.
Following delivery, the vessel will immediately join BW
LPG's commercial programme. Commenting on the delivery,
BW LPG CEO Martin Ackermann said, "The newbuilding
programme plays an important role in our customer
commitment to delivering quality transportation of LPG.
We are very pleased with the high quality of vessels
delivered from HHI and look forward to the continuation
of this partnership."
Including the BW Libra, the Company now owns and operates
a fleet of 39 vessels, comprising 26 owned VLGCs, eight
chartered-in VLGCs, and five owned LGCs. BW LPG is the
world's largest VLGC owner and operator, by number of
VLGCs and by LPG carrying capacity.
